The Xinyi Precinct of the Taipei City Police Department has established an anti-trampling team in high-density areas around the Taipei 101 fireworks display to ensure safety during New Year’s Eve celebrations. Drone interceptors will be used to force unauthorized drones to land. Mobile police stations will be set up at five major venues, providing services such as traffic control and lost and found handling. Anti-trampling teams will be organized in key areas, and LED signs, megaphones, whistles, and strong lighting equipment will be used for emergency evacuations. Prompt intervention and contact with on-site paramedics will occur in cases of overcrowding or falling incidents.

Land values in Taipei have been steadily rising for six years, although the rate of increase in 2023 appears to be slowing down. Taipei’s property value growth is considered the most stable among Taiwan’s six special municipalities, with a yearly increase of 1.37% in housing prices and a 0.48% rise in the land price index, according to the Ministry of the Interior’s latest housing price index.

Taipei 101 announces its New Year’s Eve fireworks show for 2024, featuring a 300-second spectacle with 16,000 fireworks. For the first time, the event will incorporate Japanese color fireworks, adding to the visual array. 台北101登高賽即將在5月30日登場，卻有民眾批評，負責承辦的「路跑協會」自我矮化國籍，明明不是亞、奧運會員國參加的國際賽，台灣民眾的國籍，只能選Chinese Taipei中華台北，沒有設計「台灣」這個選項，路跑協會上午緊急滅火，表示以後國際性路跑，國籍就用Chinese Taipei中華台北，國內性路跑，就採ROC中華民國，避免再有爭議。

台北101跨年煙火，188秒讓人回味無窮，足足比去年的128秒時間還要長，而如果您還有印象，在情人節的時候，101還會在建築物上頭打上「I LOVE TAIPEI」，不過跨年只有廠商名稱上了各大國際版面，這也讓很多民眾覺得可惜，甚至建議101明年或許可以考慮加上「台北」這一行字。
